History and Development

Fitzgerald’s Hotel & Casino operated from 1979 until it was sold to Downtown Project in 2012. Designed by Forrest Rodgers Design Group and built by Marnell Corrao Associates, Inc., this revitalized casino incorporated elements from downtown’s rich history while incorporating modern amenities.

Facilities

The hotel features a total of 629 rooms, including standard king or double queen accommodations as well as suites offering upgraded amenities such as kitchenettes. Guests may take advantage of multiple dining options at the property:

  • American Coney Island: A casual diner serving classic burgers and hot dogs.
  • Grand Canal Shoppes Food Court: Offers food court fare from various international cuisines.
